This covers both the Take A Break Chrome extension and this website.

THE EXTENSION

We collect nothing. The extension does not collect, transmit, sell, or share
any personal or usage data.

Your sub-tasks, timer settings, and break length are saved only on your own
device, using Chrome's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local). This
never leaves your computer — there is no server, account, or analytics
attached to it.

The extension can display its break screen on the page you're viewing. To do
that, it has permission to run on pages you visit, but it only draws the break
overlay — it does not read, record, or transmit page content.

Uninstalling the extension removes everything it stored.

THIS WEBSITE

Contact form and suggestion box: messages you submit are delivered directly
to us through Shopify's built-in contact form. We don't use a third-party
form service or CRM. Suggestion box notes can be sent anonymously — signing
your name is optional.

Corporate audit inquiries: the company name, work email, and company size you
submit are used only to follow up about a free audit, by us personally — no
automated sequences, no data resale.

Standard Shopify platform data: like any Shopify store, basic technical data
(e.g. page views, general analytics, cookies for cart/session — this site
currently has no cart) is handled by Shopify's own platform-level systems.

We don't run our own third-party trackers or ad pixels.
